Product Information
“Snare Vintage Drum Machines with Hardware Reverbs” is a unique kits for Native Instruments Battery 4, which includes 100 carefully selected Snare sounds taken from various vintage drum machines and processed by Lexicon PCM-81 hardware effects processor.
Used reverb presets that are well suited for snare sounds, namely:
• BigBoomRoom (100)
• Chorus Plate (snares from 041 to 100)
• Chorus Room (snares from 001 to 040)
• EnvChamber (100)
• Gate Chamber (100)
• Plate Ek4Dr (100)
• Wide Chamber (100)
All reverb sounds were recorded through the Lexicon PCM-81 analog outputs in high quality WAV format 96 kHz 24 bit 5 times for every 100 snare sounds and set to the "Cycle RR" playback mode in Battery 4, output to a separate Bus (labeled Wet), unprocessed snare sounds (labeled Dry), which makes it possible to adjust different levels of reverb and achieve a more authentic sound of a snare drum processed by hardware reverb.
The demo audio file has just a few snare drums with several types of reverb, the volume of which is turned up more than normal to make the snare reverb sounds easier to hear.
“Snare Vintage Drum Machines with Hardware Reverbs” requires Battery 4.3.0 or higher.

"Snare Vintage Drum Machines with Hardware Reverbs" allows you to use the recorded Lexicon PCM-81 reverbs for this kit with any other snare drum. To do this you need:
load a patch from this library into Batrtery 4;
in your DAW, copy the midi snare drum part you want to process to the Battery 4 track with “Snare Vintage Drum Machines with Hardware Reverbs” loaded into it.;
mute the dry snare sound cell (red button), leaving only the reverb sounds in Cycle RR mode, that you want to mix with any other drum sound (or simply set the dry snare level in the Buses "Dry" section to -inf and set the "Wet" bus to 0 db);
load different patches with dry snares muted, leaving only the reverb sounds until you find the processing you want for any snare (or other) drum from your project in your DAW.
