JP-8000 Classic Club Dance (Kontakt)

JP-8000 Classic Club Dance is a small collection of presets for NI Kontakt using samples taken from the legendary Roland JP-8000 synthesizer. This library makes extensive use of the famous SuperSaw generator and contains 3,000 samples carefully organized into 18 separate sets, which compile 55 instruments for Native Instruments Kontakt, consisting of samples of every note in the playable range.

The JP-8000 Classic Club Dance includes instruments that consist of 3 to 5 Round Robin layers, as well as samples that start playing at random start times, avoiding the machine gun effect of playing the same note multiple times in a row.

Many instruments have a low-pass filter assigned to the Velocity parameter and a CC1 midi controller (the default modulation wheel).

The "MoD JP-8000 Kontakt Dry" folder contains additional 55 presets - these are the same instruments from the main part, but without using Native Instruments Kontakt effects.

For recording, a Ferrofish Pulse 16 MX + RME Madiface USB audio interface was used, WAV format 192 kHz 24-Bit, resampled to 48 kHz 24-Bit.
