"Each construction kit has a short demo track preceding it, which outlines what can be done, and just checking these out reveals a collection of short tunes, most of which you could imagine hearing in some dingy little basement club where white gloves and glo-sticks are the order of the day.

The first CD is made up entirely of construction kits. There are 12 hard kits that'll have the old-skoolers laughing at the Hoover-esque cheese, before eight clubby kits that are a little more reserved...only fractionally though! and finishing up CD1 are ten darker techie kits. CD2 features a bunch of ACID-ready WAV files and hundreds of one-hit samples, from percussion through to basses and sweeps. 9 out of 10, PLATINUM AWARD"

"Here we have a collection of construction kit and individual samples in 'nu hard house' and NRG styles. The construction kits are divided into three sections - Hard, Clubby and Techy - and things are pretty fast and frantic throughout.

You do get a sense that you've heard much of what's here before, though the hard basslines are particular highlights, and the overall production is excellent throughout. The samples on CD2 (including various drums, percussion, basses, stabs, leads, sweeps and effects) are certainly worthy of their place, so there's plenty to get your teeth into.

There's not much subtlety here, but with this type of music, you wouldn't expect there to be."
