With hypnotising melodies, this pack is a complex genre stemming from a mixture of two genres, Funk and House, both of which bring an interesting yet delightful individuality to the genre as a whole.

Funk House, also commonly known as Disco House, is a subgenre of House music that uses a plethora of Funk or Disco samples that are beautifully combined with a Funk or Disco bassline and melody, brought to life with a strong Soul influence. The major attention grabber of this genre as a whole is the 1970s and 1980s inspired drum breaks that really nail that nostalgic feeling.

Like most if not all variants of House, Funk House makes a heavy use of synthesizers, samples and Soulful vocals.

The most notable names in the Funk House scene are Basement Jaxx, the Freemasons, Soul Central, Armand Van Helden and many more.
